The Tickled Pink luncheon is the American Cancer Society’s premier fundraising luncheon honoring 3 prominent individuals in the Central Mississippi area who have made significant contributions to our community in the breast cancer space in these 3 categories: medical professional of the year, survivor of the year and caregiver of the year. Join ACS for a day of pink, featuring a pink runway of breast cancer survivors and guest speakers. With your help, the American Cancer Society is able to save lives, celebrate lives, and lead the fight for a world without cancer.
We are excited to invite you to join us for the first Tickled Pink Luncheon, benefiting the American Cancer Society! This will be a spectacular PINK day dedicated to empowering local breast cancer survivors and remembering those we’ve lost to this disease. We are both thrilled to lead the charge for this event, as breast cancer is something very near and dear to our hearts. All funding from this event will go towards the breast cancer initiative; including, research, patient support, road to recovery and Hope Lodge. With your help, the American Cancer Society is able to save lives, celebrate lives, and lead the fight for a world with out cancer. We hope to see you in all PINK, October 11, 2024!
Best,
Jennie & Staci
American Cancer Society Hope Lodge® communities offer a home away from home for people facing cancer and their caregivers when cancer treatment is far away. Our 30+ Hope Lodge communities provide a free place to stay during treatment so people with cancer can focus on getting better. These communities provide comfortable guest suites with private baths, as well as inviting spaces with all the comforts of home, including a communal kitchen, dining area, laundry rooms, and places to gather or find a quiet respite – all at no cost to guests.
Hope Lodge guests don’t just find a place to stay – they find a community of support and an emotional connection with others facing the same journey. We are so blessed to have a Hope Lodge facility in the state of Mississippi! The American Cancer Society, Gertrude C. Ford Hope Lodge in Jackson, which opened in 2019, offers 32 guest rooms located near treatment centers in the area.
